Second & Fifth Sunday Ballroom Dance

For those of you who may not have been at our dance on Sunday evening, January 11, Maxine and I have decided to cancel all dances in the future. This decision was not arrived at easily. First of all, the management has changed at the community center, meaning we have lost Stan and Laura, with whom we had built a very good relationship. Then there was the question of time. Maxine and I would like to be free to travel--many things to see and places to go. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all you who gave us your undying support! You are the people who know what excellent ballroom and Latin dance music means to good dancing. We will miss you dearly but hope to see you now and then at other functions. Who knows, perhaps I'll even be a DJ now and then somewhere. Happy dancing, Art and Maxine |

Our thanks to Art and Maxine for the service they provided while it lasted.
Dancing is until 10:30 p.m. at St. Michael's. Dance swing, cha cha, mambo, samba, waltz, foxtrot, tango, quickstep, and all popular dances to the most up-to-date ballroom music. "Contrary to popular belief in some circles we are not a couples dance. If single men and women come to the dance they will have people to dance with." Refreshments are provided, and the bar will be open for cash purchases of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
