L'Allegro Dance Club Ballroom Dance

The L'Allegro dance club has opened its couples-only dances to the public on a space available basis. Dances are held at Ballroom on Sunset. Dress code: The club has a tradition of a semiformal dress code: long or short dresses, or dressy pants suits for the ladies; suits or sports jackets and tie for the gentlemen. We still appreciate dressing to this standard. However, with the exception of jeans and tee shirts, appropriate casual clothing such as slacks, sport, dress shirts, turtlenecks, dressy blouses or sweaters are acceptable. The first hour of non-dinner dances is a lesson. Reservations are required 10 days in advance for our dinner dance (December). The doors open for dinner dances with hor d'oeures at 6:00. Dinner is served promptly at 6:30, Dinner dance music is provided by the Overtones.  The remaining dances are DJ.  Guests who want to come to the dinner dance will pay $50 and may pay at the door.
